PURPOSE
Students will easily comprehend concepts because instructors will be fully able to teach by example. Students pursuing the professional dance or music (performing arts) field as a career will have access to audition coaching/advising, entertainment and celebrity contacts, and will be able to easily contend with the competition across the country.
The purpose and goal of the studio faculty is to provide eager students from ages 4 to adult with an elite level of dance and music instruction in a nourishing family environment, which will prove to be invaluable to every student.

Students will be familiarized with the basic fundamentals of dance and music techniques and will learn priceless methods of self-improvement. Innovative teaching methods will encourage discipline and creativity, stimulating and challenging students physically as well as mentally.
ABOUT
Dance Dimensions, under the auspices of its Artistic Director, Eboni Young and its Music Director, Terry Butler, has been touching lives for eleven years now. Originally opening in Virginia Beach, VA with a great diversity of eager youngsters, the dance and music academy began as an effort to positively influence young lives by teaching all forms of dance, as well as piano and voice lessons.
Dance Dimensions now operates out of Norfolk, VA located in the Best Square Shopping Center on N. Military Highway. Our curriculum includes both a wide variety of dance genres and music, which collectively includes students ranging from ages 2 to 82. We are always accepting and enrolling students year-round. Our students of Dance Dimensions have made numerous achievements in the arts including acceptance into some of Virginia and Maryland’s most competitive magnet
programs, summer conservatories, and college dance programs.

Our award winning dance team continues to astonish judges at competitions and has even been awarded an opportunity to perform at Disney's Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL for the past 8 summers. They just
recently performed on two Carnival cruise ships for the past 2 summers and were able to enjoy the Bahamas in the process! They have also shared the stage with many celebrities and opened shows for touring groups. Their credits include performing for the UniverSoul Circus, Shirley Murdock, Aframfest, NAACP (multiple events), Urban League of Hampton Roads, MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Halftime Entertainment), United States Coast Guard, Norfolk State University (basketball and football halftime entertainment), and numerous elementary, middle, and high schools in the area (just to name a few).

Dance Dimensions prides itself in producing and supplying versatile performers of all ages. We have numerous ensembles that perform outside of annual recitals.
Our ensembles have the ability to liven up a small intimate event, as​ well as bring spectacle and excitement to a large event, performing individually or collectively. We always enjoy opportunities to perform in the community and abroad to display our God-given gifts of dance and music.
The Dance Dimensions students and faculty continue to work to perfect our talents and broaden our knowledge of and appreciation for the arts. We always pray that each performance would touch at least one person’s heart.
